Katie comes to us from Asheville, NC and has been calling New Orleans her home since 2017. Always having a passion for art, she has found it most rewarding to express her creative side through doing hair. After an apprenticeship under a master stylist in his own 5 star salon in the heart of Asheville, and 4 years so far on the salon floor, she has found that  doing everything from women’s cuts to fun colors, balayage, along with all types of extensions including @MermaidHairXo extensions and even her own handmade dreadlock extensions have become some of her most enjoyable aspects of the hair industry.

Katie is excited to become a familiar face and spread her hair love around Stardust and her new favorite city!
